About The Right To The City Alliance (RTTC)

Principled struggle and generative conflict are core commitments and we take a transformative approach to resolving harm. While we take our commitments seriously, our work environment commonly includes jokes, laughter, celebration and all other manner of enjoyable human experiences.

Position Summary

RTTC's Associate Director of Electoral Organizing will help lead the development, coordination, and implementation of RTTC and RTTC-A's national electoral field strategy, working closely with the Director of Electoral Organizing to translate political strategy into concrete, well-resourced field programs. A major focus of this role will be directly supervising the National Organizer of Field Mobilization and overseeing RTTC's national deployments, volunteer infrastructure, and voter engagement programs — including the phonebank, textbank, and canvass operations tied to RTTC's electoral and issue-based campaigns.

We are looking for an experienced electoral organizer and people manager who can translate political strategy into clear field plans, build and supervise a strong field team, and represent RTTC in coalition spaces when needed. The ideal candidate is a steady, organized leader who thrives on operational execution as much as political strategy, and who can serve as a trusted right hand to the Director of Electoral Organizing — providing continuity, follow-through, and sound judgment on field and staffing matters. They are excited to help build the long-term electoral infrastructure necessary to sustain RTTC's work through 2027 and beyond.
